ABOUT

I’m Andrew Tagg—emergency physician, educator, and the creator of Ready Set Go, a workshop that helps clinicians and academics teach and present with clarity and confidence. I’m also a founding editor of Don’t Forget the Bubbles, a global paediatrics resource built on curiosity, kindness, and community.

I’ve spent two decades in emergency medicine, but the part I’ve always loved most is communication: the quiet power of choosing the right words, asking better questions, or explaining complex ideas simply. Whether I’m teaching registrars, speaking at conferences, or coaching others, I care about showing up with presence and helping others do the same.

I trained in the UK, spent time as a cruise ship doctor, and eventually found home—and family—in Melbourne. Along the way, I’ve spoken openly about burnout and mental ill-health, and I continue to work with organisations like AHPRA, Safer Care Victoria, and ACEM to help reshape medical culture from the inside.

These days, I’m focused on running Ready Set Go, writing my Speak Human newsletter, and helping others bring clarity, connection, and joy to their teaching.
